About AHS Project Graduation

The community that surrounds L.C. Anderson seniors has created a way to celebrate their hard work. Project Graduation (PG) is a free event open to all seniors that will provide for a drug and alcohol-free environment. The celebration is an all-night lock-in the night of graduation and provides seniors with one last time together before heading off to do great things in the world. This year it will be held on May 30th 2024.

Project Graduation was conceived in Maine in the 1980s after 18 teens lost their lives in drug and alcohol-related crashes following high school graduations. The event was so well received that it was quickly adopted by other high schools throughout the nation.

This is a totally self-supporting program sponsored by Anderson parents and our community; we receive no funding from the school budget. Project Graduation is a certified 501c3 as a charitable entity; thus, all donations are tax-free. There are several opportunities to become involved and we would love for you to contact us  This is a true graduation gift for Anderson Class of 2024.
